Based on a completely analog circuit, which is perfectly tuned to the low frequencies of the electric bass by the bass modification, the OB.1 convinces with its transparent sound in absolute studio quality. The optical compressor is a popular helper for smoothing unwanted level peaks and will make the hearts of the slappers beat faster, as it receives the basic attack of every note. In addition, the compressor can be used to help sustain-weak instruments on their way.

Versatile Boost

The integrated Clean Booster increases the signal strength by up to 10 db and offers three switchable EQ curves. While Flat works with broadband, Middle and Treble emphasize the corresponding frequency ranges, resulting in a variety of possibilities for adjusting the sound character. For example, the booster can be used as a simple way to give solos in the band structure more assertiveness, to give pickups with dark tuning more brilliance or to overdrive the preamplifier for a rich overdrive.
