The Lakewood D-32CP is the electro cutaway version of the Deluxe dreadnought body size guitar form the highly regarded and popular German Lakewood guitar workshop. This range of instruments is part of the better quality range of Lakewood guitars and as such the D-32CP features upgraded AAA European spruce in the top and all solid AAA rosewood in the back and sides. We love this range of guitars but really feel this particular electro acoustic is a bit special. the D-32CP features a compact and very cleverly designed LR Boaggs pick-up system. This system is fitted under the instruments top but does not fix in a way that would be detrimental to the instrument. The pickup is accessed via the sound hole so controls are still easy to get to. This pickup fits to the internal bracing of the guitar instead of the usual choice of having a pick up and pre amp attached and fixed to the instrument sides. This LR baggs option therefore allows all the tone woods involved in creating and delivering the D-32CP’s sound to act without compromise of being interfered with due to any alternative pick up fitting options. This is a great guitar, a truly pro performance instrument, it works brilliantly when plugged in and used in any way its quality and warmth blends perfectly and comes across in a balanced musical way. We appreciate the inclusion of Ebony in the fingerboard and bridge and love the overall feel of this range when its in your hands. This guitar has a perfect balance and a big open natural sound.
