Looking for a great classical nylon string guitar for your very serious classical guitar tuition can be a fun and interesting task indeed. Common questions are often related to country of origin, wood types, and tone quality. The Almansa 434 is a guitar that helps address these issues in a very simple way. Yes, it is really made in Spain and not a Chinese guitar masked as Spanish. it has a very warm and resonant solid cedar top, the mahogany neck and rosewood back and sides add great warmth and depth to the tone, but for us the real icing on the cake is the beautiful Ebony fingerboard. It feels wonderful to play, and looks magnificent. Ebony is a very hard wood that seems to accent the top end with a distinct crispness that helps you cut through so to speak. We do feel that this great guitar is totally worthy of your undivided attention as a brilliant guitar for those looking to really get into the true classical style. Give this great guitar a chance, it will definitely impress!

The Official Line…

Despite being the entry-level classical of the conservatory line, the Almansa 434 Classical Guitar offers top-notch features and craftsmanship. This Almansa instrument was handmade in Spain using traditional Spanish heel construction handmade by the most respected Luthiers. This method of construction is expensive, durable, and most importantly, allows the instrument’s materials to act as one and project a beautiful voice. The solid cedar top adds warmth to the tone and has a softer attack; perfect for classical, flamenco and other finger-picking playing styles. The pairing of solid Indian rosewood back and sides with a mahogany neck offer great mid-range sound and plenty of projection for live performances. An ebony fretboard provides one of the smoothest feels for playing across the fretboard and gold-plated machine heads keep it all in tune perfectly.
