The Maton S70 Acoustic Guitar is a high-quality instrument that offers unbeatable value in its price range. It features all solid tone wood construction with a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Victorian Blackwood back and sides. Blackwood is known for its warm lows and sweet midrange, while Sitka Spruce is renowned for its strength, clear tone, and brilliant projection. The guitar also features Maton’s newest bracing system, which contributes to its punchy, defined, warm, and articulate sound.

The S70 has become one of Maton’s best-selling models due to its exceptional quality and affordability. It comes with a Maton hard case, and it is Australian-made, ensuring its longevity. In terms of specs, the S70 has a dreadnought body shape, an “A” grade Sitka Spruce face, and a Blackwood back and sides. The neck is made of Queensland Maple, while the fingerboard and bridge are made of Streaky Ebony. The guitar features scalloped Maton X bracing, a Sapele Ring face inlay/rosette, and a tortoiseshell pickguard with a gold M. It also has a 100mm soundhole, 21 frets, and Dunlop 6260 fretwire. The nut and saddle are made of bone, and the machine heads are chrome Grover Rotomatics. The S70 comes with Elixir Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze 12-53 strings.
