Building on the successful launch of the Essence Series, we are proud to introduce a new, upgraded model that takes craftsmanship and tonal excellence to the next level. The Essence Special features a torrefied solid adirondack spruce top for enhanced power and tonal richness, paired with flamed blackwood back and sides for striking visual appeal. Its newly introduced Brown Burst semi-gloss finish adds a bold vintage flair, complemented by signature herringbone detailing that reflects timeless elegance.

Using a special process called ATV (Aged To Vintage), the torrefied solid adirondack spruce top with matching torrefied adirondack scalloped X-bracing delivers bold projection, rich overtones, and a wide dynamic range. Adirondack spruce, stronger and denser than Sitka, offers articulate response and smoothness even at high volume. Its elastic feel suits both aggressive strumming and precise flatpicking.

Flamed blackwood adds elegant visual contrast and tonal richness. It blends rich low-end of mahogany, the brightness of maple, and the ethereal overtones of rosewood. Its dense character provides responsive clarity and power, making it ideal for both strumming and fingerstyle techniques.

Installed internally without cutting out any of the woods, the Presys VT EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound that other systems can’t. The controls are simple to use as well with only Volume and Tone.

A rosewood fretboard and bridge create a harmonious blend, delivering a rich character. Rosewood’s dense, oily properties contribute to a warm, balanced sound with exceptional sustain. The fretboard enhances playability with its smooth surface, while the bridge efficiently transfers string vibrations to the guitar’s body, amplifying the instrument’s overall resonance.

With an 18:1 gear ratio, these open-gear tuning machines not only enhance the instrument’s vintage charm but also provide precise tuning adjustments and a classic look.
