“Little Forest Angel” is a name given to a bird commonly known as the Fairy Pitta. Also called the ‘Eight-Colored Bird’, this small and brightly colored bird is native to East Asian countries and is most recognizable for its plumage of eight different colors reminiscent of a rainbow. Sadly, due to recent habitat disruption, trapping and hunting, and human disturbances, the population of Fairy Pittas has been on a constant decline leading to a classification of the species as vulnerable. It is our hope that we may contribute to raising awareness of the critical condition of this beautiful yet endangered species by commemorating and visualizing the bird in its natural habitat on our special acoustic guitar.

Fairy Pittas are easily recognizable for its plumage of bright and distinct colors, and the bird’s stunning form is depicted on the headstock using mixture of top grade materials such as mother-of-pearl, abalone, maple, walnut, padauk, macasar ebony and ovangkol.

Featuring superior strength and dense grains along with the flexibility to resonate freely, the premium grade solid Sitka spruce top is ideal for virtually any musical genre with a brilliant and clear high-end, warm and rich midrange, and a deep but tight low-end for a beautifully balanced sound.

Bright yet natural with a strong and warm midrange, the beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for back and sides on premium acoustics for many decades. Flamed Mahogany figuring gets better and better with higher grades and this model features.

With dimensions of 4 5/8″(117㎜) body depth, upper bout width at 11 1/2″(292㎜) and lower bout width at 16″(405㎜), the Auditorium body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Auditorium body type ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.

The L.R.Baggs® Anthem pickup/preamp system delivers the pure acoustic vibrations of the instrument to the amplifier and PA without any coloration. Unneeded feedback can also be easily and effectively controlled through minimalistic controls that do not interfere with the look of the instrument.

A completely redesigned asymmetric neck profile is designed to give experienced players and enthusiasts alike a comfortable ergonomic playing experience that is optimized for various playing styles.

The 5-piece neck not only provides strength and stability but a strong and focused sound in conjunction with the body’s acoustic resonance.

Features a 25.5”(648㎜) neck scale with 1 3/4”(44.5㎜) nut width widely regarded as the ‘golden standard’ among fingerstyle players for its optimal string spacing and string tension.

The jet-black beauty and slick smoothness of ebony is not only beautiful to look at, but adds cleaner tone definition thanks to its rock solid rigidity.

Featuring an extremely precise 21:1 tuning ratio, these tuners feel solid and ultra-smooth at the same time. The elegant and streamlined knobs also reduce fatigue during the tuning process. You will feel the quality of these tuners the moment you start tuning the guitar.

Preferred by many guitar makers and players for rich tone and sustain, the TUSQ is an advanced polymer that’s formed under high heat and pressure for uniform density. It’s designed to transfer string energy more efficiently, and to make guitars come alive with enhanced harmonics, volume and sustain.

The shaping and treatment of a guitar’s frets have a big impact on comfort and performance. Hand-rolled fret edge treatment uses a method to dress their frets to make them round, smooth, and ultra-comfortable to touch and play.
